Jacob Patterson got an offensive rebound off a missed free throw with 6 seconds remaining while the Red Devils had a 1 point lead. Patterson went to the foul line and connected on 1 of 2 free throws to give Allen a 2 point lead. Independence's Tate Turner went the length of the floor and attempted a 2 point shot as time expired and the shot missed the mark, giving the Red Devils their second straight conference win.
